APT members may show their membership cards for discounts or complimentary tours and admissions at these sites and businesses around the city. We especially encourage new guides to take advantage of these opportunities to familiarize themselves with what the city offers.
We thank the following organizations and businesses for supporting APT.
Betsy Ross Gift Shop
APT members who stop inside the Betsy Ross House’s Gift Shop and show their APT card or name badge from their tour company can receive 20% off purchases and a free water.
Campo’s Philly Cheesesteaks
Campo’s is a family run sandwich shop that has been making Philly’s best cheesesteaks, hoagies, and specialty sandwiches since 1947! Located at 214 Market street in the center of Old City, Campo’s offers a great beer selection from local breweries, as well as several vegan and gluten free alternatives to their hometown classics. They have a kid’s menu with plenty of outdoor seating and are the official cheesesteak of the phillies!
APT members who show their membership card or mention ‘APT’ can take 10% off their bill. Reach out to Michael Campo (Jr) directly to ask questions, make special requests, or inquire about bulk rates!
Saami Somi is the new Georgian restaurant inside Reading Terminal Market. Guides and their tour guests can receive a 10% discount on all menu items by mentioning “Tour Guide Association” at checkout or showing a discount card available from the APT Board or the Saami Somi office.
- After Tour: Guests who want to visit Saami Somi after their tours can present a discount card or mention “Tour Guide Association”
- During Tour: Guides can bring their groups to Saami Somi at RTM or pre-arrange with Saami Somi for a group visit
- For the Guides: Tour guides are welcome to use the discount for themselves as well.
Saami Somi is bringing traditional and new twists on the cuisine from the black sea and caucasus mountain region. Items include the famous Adjaruli Khachapuri or “Cheeseboat” which Saami Somi prepares with a special sourdough bread; as well as khinkali, oversized soup dumplings; and a variety of famous Georgian bites.
Not an official APT supporter, but a great city-wide benefit…
