The Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides (APT) has been invited to join an emergency preparedness session organized by the National Park Service (NPS). It will be held on Wednesday May 1, 10 am – 12 pm, in the ballroom at the Independence Visitors’ Center. The session is free, but space is limited, so register as soon as possible by emailing Ryan McLeod at ryan_mcleod@nps.gov. There is another session offered on May 21, so be sure to indicate which one you are interested in.

A lead FBI special agent will guide participants through an interactive session providing additional knowledge regarding active shooter incidents and best courses of action to take if ever put in that situation.
