Services

Elfreth's Alley is one of the oldest continuously inhabited streets in the United States, celebrating 300 years of history. Due to community efforts beginning in 1934, the alley was saved from demolition and preserved as a national historic landmark.

Specialty Tours or Topics

The Elfreth's Alley Museum allows visitors to see the insides of two houses dating back to 1755 and learn about the people who lived there in the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. We have two major fundraising events every year: Elfreth's Alley Day in June and Deck the Alley in December - in which residents of the alley open up their homes and visitors enjoy vendors, performances, and special programs for all ages.
