The Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides (APT) is opening its 2025 Membership Drive on October 1 with early bird discounts through December 31. Memberships will run through December 31, 2025. All payments can be made in the APT Store.
Membership tiers are:
— Individual: $40/ reg. $60
— 1-person tour company (up to 4 guides): $80/ reg. $100
— Non-profit: $110/ reg. $150
— 5+ person tour company or for-profit: $160/ reg. $200
Tour guides who have their own companies and/or book tours directly are encouraged to sign up for 1-person tour company. Corporate members can have a logo, website, brochure or rack card, and up to 3 photos in the APT Directory. They are also listed on APT’s ‘featured corporate members‘ page which is the first information sent to anyone who contacts the website looking for a tour. And corporate members can list upcoming events and promotions in the weekly ‘Tour Talk’ newsletter under ‘from our corporate members.’
Everyone connected to Philadelphia’s thriving tourism industry is invited to join: docents, site managers, first person interpreters, carriage drivers, walking and step-on tour guides, concierges, volunteers, representatives of tourism-related organizations, and any other parties interested in Philadelphia and its history.
