‘How To’ Series: Doing a Livestream or Virtual Tour

This year the Events committee will implement some ‘how to’ zoom training sessions for tour guides. Our first one will be Wednesday, February 15, at 7 pm. Do you want to reach a wider audience with your tours? Are you curious about a more accessible and affordable option for tour guests? Has the experience with Covid made you wonder about other ways to provide tours? Livestream or virtual tours may be perfect for you!
Join APT Certified Guide Jenn Hensell for a step by step zoom session on how to provide a livestream or virtual tour. (Check out a livestream tour Jenn did for Free Tours by Foot.) Technical advice and tips will abound with time for questions and discussion. Worried about equipment? Don’t be! The presentation will break down the technology into simple, intermediate, and advanced levels. You can get started with a smart phone and headphones with a mic!
Fee to attend is $5 member/$8 non-member, payable in the APT Store. (Look for ‘How To Series’ button). Zoom link will be sent to all participants the day of the presentation. A private link to the recording will also be provided to all attendees.
